Ordian Agents provides AI assistance that can send messages, schedule meetings, and take actions on your behalf. Because your agent represents you in digital interactions, it's crucial that all use complies with applicable laws and respects others' rights.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules for using Ordian Agents responsibly. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Remember: You are fully responsible for all actions taken by your AI agent.
1. Prohibited Uses
You may not use your Ordian Agent for any of the following purposes:
1.1 Harassment and Abuse
- Harassment — Using the agent to repeatedly contact, threaten, or intimidate others
- Impersonation — Configuring the agent to impersonate other individuals, organizations, or entities
- Abusive messages — Sending hate speech, discriminatory content, or abusive language
- Doxxing — Sharing private or personal information about others without consent
1.2 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Bulk messaging — Using the agent to send unsolicited bulk messages via WhatsApp, email, or other platforms
- Marketing without consent — Sending marketing or promotional messages to recipients who haven't given explicit consent
- Chain messages — Creating or forwarding chain messages, pyramid schemes, or viral content designed to spread rapidly
1.3 Illegal Activities
- Criminal activity — Using the agent for any purpose that violates local, national, or international law
- Fraud and scams — Creating fraudulent schemes, investment scams, or deceptive business practices
- Financial crimes — Money laundering, tax evasion, or illegal financial activities
- Intellectual property theft — Copyright infringement, trademark violations, or unauthorized distribution of protected content
1.4 Privacy Violations
- Data collection without consent — Using the agent to collect personal information from others without their knowledge and consent
- Unauthorized access — Attempting to access other people's accounts, systems, or private information
- Privacy intrusion — Using the agent to invade others' privacy or monitor their activities without consent
1.5 Platform Policy Violations
- WhatsApp violations — Using the agent in ways that violate WhatsApp's Business API policies or terms of service
- Email provider violations — Violating the terms of service of Gmail, Outlook, or other connected email providers
- Calendar service violations — Misusing calendar services or violating their terms of use
2. Communication Guidelines
2.1 Professional Standards
Your AI agent should maintain professional and respectful communication standards:
- Clear identification — The agent should identify itself as an AI assistant when appropriate, especially in business contexts
- Truthful communication — All communications should be honest and accurate
- Respectful tone — Maintain a respectful and professional tone in all interactions
2.2 Consent and Permissions
- Obtain consent for ongoing communications — Ensure recipients want to receive regular messages from your agent
- Respect communication preferences — Honor requests to reduce message frequency or stop communications
- Business vs. personal contexts — Be mindful of the context and relationship when using the agent for communications
2.3 Data Handling in Communications
- Protect sensitive information — Ensure your agent doesn't accidentally share confidential or sensitive information
- Respect confidentiality — Don't use the agent to share private conversations or information without permission
- Secure communications — Be cautious when discussing sensitive topics through agent-mediated communications
3. Account Security and Sharing
3.1 Account Security
- Secure your account — Use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication if available
- Monitor agent activity — Regularly review your agent's actions and communications
- Report unauthorized access — Immediately report any suspected unauthorized access to your account
3.2 Account Sharing Restrictions
- No shared accounts — Do not share your account credentials or access with others
- Personal responsibility — You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Business use — If using for business purposes, ensure proper corporate oversight and compliance
4. Safety Features and Circumvention
4.1 Safety Measures
Ordian Agents includes safety features designed to prevent harmful use:
- Content filtering to prevent harmful communications
- Rate limiting to prevent spam and abuse
- Monitoring systems to detect policy violations
- User controls to review and approve certain actions
4.2 Prohibition on Circumvention
You may not:
- Attempt to circumvent safety features — Using techniques to bypass content filters, rate limits, or other protective measures
- Exploit system vulnerabilities — Attempting to find and exploit bugs or weaknesses in the Service
- Manipulate agent behavior — Using prompt injection or other techniques to make the agent behave contrary to its intended design
5. Monitoring and Compliance
5.1 Our Monitoring Rights
To ensure compliance with this AUP and maintain service quality, we reserve the right to:
- Monitor agent activity — Review patterns of agent behavior and communications
- Investigate reports — Look into reports of policy violations or abusive use
- Review communications — When necessary for safety or compliance, review communications sent by agents
- Implement safeguards — Add additional safety measures or restrictions based on usage patterns
5.2 User Monitoring Responsibilities
You are expected to:
- Regularly review agent actions — Check the logs and summaries of your agent's activities
- Adjust agent behavior — Modify settings or provide feedback when the agent acts inappropriately
- Report issues — Notify us of any problems with your agent's behavior
6. Reporting Violations
6.1 How to Report
If you encounter violations of this AUP, whether from other users' agents or in your own agent's behavior, please report them to abuse@ordian.ai.
6.2 What to Include
When reporting violations, please provide:
- Description of the violation — What policy was violated and how
- Evidence — Screenshots, message copies, or other documentation
- Contact information — Your contact details in case we need additional information
- Urgency level — Whether this requires immediate attention
6.3 Response Process
We will:
- Acknowledge receipt of reports within 24 hours
- Investigate reported violations promptly
- Take appropriate enforcement action based on findings
- Follow up with the reporter on resolution when appropriate
7. Enforcement and Consequences
7.1 Warning System
For minor or first-time violations, we typically issue warnings and provide guidance on proper use:
- Educational warnings — Information about what went wrong and how to fix it
- Temporary restrictions — Limited functionality until compliance is demonstrated
- Required training — Additional guidance on proper agent use
7.2 Serious Violations
For serious or repeated violations, consequences may include:
- Service suspension — Temporary suspension of your account and agent access
- Feature restrictions — Limiting certain agent capabilities permanently
- Account termination — Permanent termination of your account with no refund
- Legal action — Referral to law enforcement for illegal activities
7.3 Immediate Actions
For violations that pose immediate harm or risk, we may take immediate action without prior warning, including:
- Immediate account suspension
- Blocking of agent communications
- Reporting to relevant authorities
- Cooperation with law enforcement investigations
8. Appeals Process
8.1 Right to Appeal
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@ordian.ai within 30 days of the action.
8.2 Appeal Information
Your appeal should include:
- Account information and details of the enforcement action
- Explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Any additional evidence or context that supports your case
- Steps you've taken to prevent future violations
8.3 Appeal Review
We will review appeals fairly and respond within 14 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP as our service evolves or as new use cases and risks emerge. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated date.
For material changes that significantly affect acceptable use, we will provide 30 days' advance notice via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
