Our commitment

Accessibility is part of how this site is built, not a layer added afterwards. Every page is checked with the same gates before it is published, and a barrier reported to us is treated as a defect to fix.

Conformance target

WCAG 2.2 Level AA

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The checks below cover the criteria that can be verified automatically and by keyboard; a full audit by an independent reviewer has not been commissioned.

What was tested

• Color contrast of every text and control pair on every surface, including text over photography.
• Keyboard operation of every page: a real Tab walk with a visible focus indicator on every stop, nothing hidden behind the fixed header, the menu drawer closes on Escape and returns focus.
• Screen reader semantics: one main heading per page, heading order, landmarks, a skip link, alternative text and form labels.
• Touch and pointer targets of at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels.
• Reflow without horizontal scrolling from 320 pixels wide, text spacing per WCAG 1.4.12, and no viewport zoom lock.
• Reduced motion: with the system setting on, nothing animates and nothing disappears.
• Automated checks with axe-core against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at Levels A and AA on every route, desktop and phone.
