Getting Started

Get your AI assistant up and running in about 10 minutes.

1. Sign up

Head to ordian.ai and request access. We're currently in beta — you can join the waitlist or redeem an invite code from someone who's already in.

Once approved, you'll receive an email with your login credentials and a link to the dashboard.

2. Set up your agent

When you first log in, you'll go through a quick setup flow:

Give it a name

Pick a name for your assistant. This is what contacts will see when they receive emails or messages. Use your own name if you want the assistant to act as you, or give it its own identity.

Connect your accounts

Link the services you want your agent to use:

  • Email — your agent gets its own email address (e.g., yourname@ordian.ai). You can also connect your existing Gmail or Outlook.
  • Calendar — sync with Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar so it knows your availability.
  • WhatsApp — connect via the WhatsApp Business API to let your agent message contacts.

Set your personality

This is the fun part. Show your agent how you communicate:

  • Paste a few emails you've written
  • Share some WhatsApp messages
  • Or just describe your tone (e.g., "professional but friendly, no emojis")

The more examples you give, the better it gets. Don't worry — you can always refine this later.

3. Set your rules

Tell your agent what it can and can't do:

  • Auto-reply — should it respond to emails automatically, or queue them for your review?
  • Scheduling — can it book meetings on its own, or should it check with you first?
  • Contacts — who can it message? Everyone, or only approved contacts?
  • Working hours — when should it be active? 24/7, or only during business hours?
ℹ️ NoteYou can change these rules anytime from the dashboard. Start strict and loosen up as you get comfortable.

4. Start using it

Once setup is complete, your agent starts working immediately. Here are some things you can try:

  • Forward an email to your agent and ask it to draft a reply
  • Ask it to schedule a meeting with someone
  • Have it follow up with a contact on WhatsApp
  • Give it a task like "check my calendar for next week and clear anything before 10am"

The more you use it, the better it understands your preferences and workflow.
